It is all about the story . . . everyone has a story; “their story” that has “Shaped” their lives to who they are today.  After reading Nele’s book “Plant–Based Made Easy” her story is remarkable.  I always say when you change one’s life – it is a domino effect. Nele first changed her own life by researching and taking action on her own nutrition and health. She shared it with her family.  Now, today thousands of people are eating healthier because of one person’s “metamorphosis” and her passion to create an impact on our world one person at a time.

 

I do believe in serendipity – moments when the world and people come together to do their “magic” at the right place and the right time.  My “story” with Nele is a serendipitous moment and a blessing on so many levels of my life.  I am a cookbook author and we were creating our first “plant-based” cookbook.  Plant-based cooking was not my expertise, but I am passionate about living the lifestyle. I am what I call a “fast-food” plant-based eater.  Nuts, seeds, veggies, fruits, juicing, salads – the grab and go kind of gal.  So, when we decided to do our next cookbook on plant-nutritious recipes for the whole family – we chose to reach out to the experts.  We wanted to create a cookbook that was fun, easy and delicious.  So, we decided to get “friends” on board that were masters in the “plant-based” world.  A dear friend of mine introduced me to Nele.  She said she was genius and a guru at plant-based cooking.  Cooking from scratch was a totally different way of cooking for me.  I was thrilled and so honored to meet her.  I wanted to learn everything!  

 

Nele and I Skype one early morning (early for me – late for Nele) and we became fast beautiful friends for life. Nele has a heart of gold and so eager to spread the plant-based word to support all of you in your transformation.

I am Nele Liivlaid, plant-based certificate graduate from eCornell, featured blogger, and holistic nutrition student at CSNN.

I transitioned to plant-based eating in 2012 to change my family's as well as my own health to better.

Shortly after, I started advocating plant-based lifestyle through my blog and offering meal plans to make the transition easier for others.

Very soon I realised that a more thorough guide covering all aspects of life is much needed and started writing this book. Here, I bring that experience to you, backed by scientific evidence.

What an amazing piece of work Nele has produced! I applaud her for this and can imagine just how much time she has spent on this. Reading the success stories in this wonderful book, it gave me some food for thought again and I’ll be going into my research again so I can make more informed decisions about my nutrition. Nele’s book really is a great resource for everyone who wants to transition to a plant-based diet. I like that there is still the option to eat a little bit of animal-derived foods since I know for some people it’s too hard to give up on everything at once.
The book is easy to read, and she covers so many topics (it’s like two books in one) and the testimonials are helpful.
